At Sunset Bay Academy our students receive private sessions with a psychotherapist which provides the student with valuable tools to overcome addictive and negative behaviors, while promoting emotional growth. As most students who come to our campus are emotionally immature, one process they learn in counseling and in community support is to take responsibility for pase negative failures. During these sessions, the student begins to discover parts of his/her personality that utimately has held them back from being responsible for the behaviors that have brought them this far. The students begin to understand and use changed behaviors where adjustmentsneeded to be made. This enables students to have positive peer relationships and long-lasting familial relationships as well.
Through family restoration and parent/family workshops, Sunset Bay Academy enables students to reunite with their parents and siblings.
